Hi! My name is Caitlyn and I'm the Owner and Creator of Greene River Glass Studio. I've always been passionate about creating and handmaking things, and stained glass is something I've wanted to try for a while now. I finally decided to go for it and try my hand at stained glass in 2021 after stumbling upon a few stained glass artists on TikTok and Instagram and getting really inspired by their work. Having taken a glass fusing & slumping class at a local arts center, I knew I wasn't going in completely blind since I had worked with glass before, but I still had a lot to learn about the process and have definitely made my fair share of mistakes! Working with glass is something I enjoy so much, and I love creating unique pieces that marry modern styles with natural and organic shapes. I work as a software engineer during the day, so stained glass has become the perfect way to let out my creativity in a different way, and allows me to share what I create with even more people, and hopefully I can bring a little bit of joy to someone's day with my art. :)
